Podcast: Pamela Seelig, Threads of Yoga
Pamela Seelig
Rabbi Rami and Pamela Seelig discuss the yoga sutras, quieting the mind, yoga as an antidote, the eight-limb path, and more.
Pamela Seelig’s journey began after a diagnosis of Bell’s Palsy, which led her to leave her high-stress Wall Street job and seek out alternative medicines to begin her healing process—which brought her into the world of yoga and meditation. She has now been practicing yoga for over 25 years.
Seelig’s new book, Threads of Yoga: Themes, Reflections, and Meditations to Weave Into Your Practice, was featured in Books We Love in the September/October 2021 issue of Spirituality & Health.
In this episode, Rami and Seelig discuss the yoga sutras, quieting the mind, yoga as an antidote, the eight-limb path, and more.
“We practice and practice yoga, but there’s really nothing to do in a way—it’s really just this remembering and realizing what’s already there.”
