A Challenge to Forgive

by Alma TassiMarch 24, 2014

Are you hurt and suffering? As Desmond and Mpho Tutu write in their new book The Book of Forgiving: The Fourfold Path for Healing Ourselves and Our World, "Until we can forgive, we remain locked in our pain and locked out of the possibility of experiencing healing and freedom, locked out of the possibility of being at peace.”

In an effort to teach everyone the practical steps to forgiveness they share in their book, they developed the The Tutu Global Forgiveness Challenge—a 30 day online program. Sign up at and starting May 4th you’ll receive a daily email from the Tutus with a link to join an online forgiveness community for exercises, inspirational stories, discussions and opportunities to share your own stories.

We here at S&H will be participating in the challenge and sharing some of the tools on this blog. We hope you will join us and until then, read more about their healing journey and how you can "create joy out of suffering" here.

Alma Tassi has written for several magazines and edited books on spirituality, personal growth, and women's issues.
