New Moon Meditation: The Goddess of Loneliness

storm over ocean

A preview of Moon Meditations: 16 Nights for Desire, Heartache, and Connection

Kameshvari Nitya's name means "Always Empowering Desire" She is the Tantric moon phase goddess who presides over the dark of the new moon. Her desire is existential, with no other to cast light in her direction. In this way, she's the goddess of loneliness. Sit with her and her darkness on the night of the new moon (or anytime you get a chance) and consider your own deepest desires and what your loneliness may have to teach you. This meditation includes a writing prompt—you may like to have your journal ready.

This meditation is a part of a course I am offering called Moon Meditations: 16 Nights for Desire, Heartache, and Connection. You'll get 16 meditations just like this one, each with a different goddess energy and writing prompt, to go through your own moon cycle from new moon to full moon. Click here to learn more.
