It wasn't until I went on my first 30 day vegan detox that I discovered the joys and health benefits of eating raw cuisine, which is prepared without heating above 118 degrees to preserve vitamins, minerals, and enzymes otherwise lost through traditional cooking. 

On this episode of Conscious Living® TV, we enjoy a truly amazing meal at one of the top restaurants in the country, the award-winning Pure Food and Wine in New York City. The restaurant specializes in raw, seasonal and unprocessed plant-based dishes like their world-famous lasagne, a long and thoughtful organic wine and sake list, and decadent raw desserts and smoothies that keep meat eaters and vegetarians coming back for seconds and thirds.
