Zachary Avery is a journalist, playwright and screenwriter based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He enjoys art forms that bring on a sense of meditation, such as woodblock printmaking and mono-print.

Zachary loves adventuring around the many restaurants and art galleries located throughout Grand Rapids, and you can usually find him with his head buried in a book on Japanese art aesthetic or yet another memoir by Alison Bechdel.
