Katherine Dunn is an artist/writer who lives on Apifera Farm, a non-profit animal sanctuary where she takes in elderly and needy animals—donkeys, equines, goats, cats, dogs, pigs, fowl, and one bunny. She writes about her life in essays, sometimes through the voices of her barnyard friends.
