Are You an Empath?

Rev. Stephanie Red Feather talks about her new book, The Evolutionary Empath.

Being an empath is not a specific diagnosis with a specific set of criteria that will determine if you are unequivocally an empath or not. There are a lot of closet empaths out there starting to wake up.

Being an empath is a resonant field. You might still be considering and feeling into its relevance and resonance, but for most people it registers as an immediate intuitive hit—yes, yes, I know this to be true.

My charge is to try to explain a difficult and esoteric concept in a way that is accessible to as many people as possible so they can then insert themselves inside the idea and decide if it resonates with them. On a grander scale, as we evolve, our collective sensitivities will increase. The heart is still a new filter through which to run all of our life decisions, values, and experiences, and we need new tools and mind-sets—a total paradigm shift, really—to help us make the transition.

Regardless of the degree to which you identify as an empath, the life tools I provide in my new book Evolutionary Empath are sorely lacking in the world and desperately needed if humankind is to evolve and practice heart-centered living. This book is not just about understanding your empathic nature. It is about recognizing where you fit in the grand scheme of humanity’s evolution and owning your choice to incarnate now. And with that, comes the understanding that you are an emerging leader of the New Earth. Labels aside, you are here to experience your God-self in human form and to contribute to the evolution of this planet and all her inhabitants.
