Good health is more than the absence of illness or pain. According to Dr. Prudence Hall, founder and medical director of the Santa Monica, California-based The Hall Center, it is an optimal state of vitality and joy. Certain symptoms or conditions we brush off as “normal” – such as sleep problems, weight gain, irritability, depression, lack of energy and more – can slowly pick away at our vitality, joy and zest for life.
On Sept. 7th, Mentors Channel is offering a series of seven free health talks by Dr. Hall. Dr. Hall is a pioneer in the field of regenerative medicine, a practice that involves looking at the root cause of diseases and conditions instead of treating the superficial symptoms with a conventional “band-aid” approach (e.g. prescription medications).
“Every day, clients come to me with these complaints. So many of them feel they are falling apart and need help fast,” says Hall. “That’s what inspired me to create a series of 7 health talks for the Mentors Channel community. The goal is to address the most common concerns I see in my practice from a medical perspective, to provide actionable tips, and also to help listeners harness the synergistic benefits of meditation.”
In each of the ten-minute talks, she’ll be discussing a different topic, giving medical information and simple tips, as well as leading listeners through a short meditation exercise related to the topic.
For a ten-day period ending on September 16th, the series is free of charge. During this time, Dr. Hall will also be blogging and interacting with program participants.
The topics being addressed are:
- Sleeplessness
- Menopause
- Weight loss
- Fatigue
- Irritation and anger
- Depression
- Sexual passion
Dr. Hall’s innovative approach offers new insight on how to treat these symptoms and various diseases. She uses an integrative approach, highlighting the power of awareness and meditation to transform the body-mind.
Talks will be available at no cost from September 7 – 16, 2015. Click here to register.
