As the seasons change, so do our intentions. Summer is here, which is a good time to focus on your path forward.
One of my favorite rituals for transitioning to a new season is to create face and body mists that are inspired loosely by Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). “Yin and yang represent balance and harmony in the universe, nature, and our daily lives,” says Lulu Ge, the founder of Elix, a wellness brand that uses TCM to create personalized herbal formulas. “Understanding this concept helps us care for our overall wellbeing as we live in accordance with the rhythms of time, seasons, and the natural world around us.”
Creating products for your self-care routine that are inspired by the balance of nature can help you stay grounded, fight off negativity, and focus on manifesting your desires.
Jasmine oil has long been associated with skin care and is effective in treating dry, brittle, or dehydrated skin. This mist combines jasmine oil in distilled water with amethyst crystal—a balancing stone that transmutes heavy, denser energy into love. The spray has calming effects, so feel free to spray when you want to balance yourself, cleanse any heavy energy, and return to your center.

This mist combines reishi, the “mushroom of immortality,” with citrine crystal, a white-yellow stone that reflects and refracts bright light to help your skin glow. Reishi mushrooms are often used in skincare because they contain what are known as beta-glucans, which are natural sugars that help reduce and calm dry, itchy skin. Finally, spearmint essential oil stimulates your circulatory system and helps blood and oxygen flow more freely. You’ll boost your energy levels and inspire your day with this vibrant blend.

This one uses vibrational healing earth energy, including adaptogens and healing stones. It’s an ultrafine mist that hydrates, calms visible redness, and evens the look of skin tone with antioxidant-rich ashwagandha. Shungite is now the go-to stone for electromagnetic field (EMF) protection, purification, and detoxification of the body, as well as general healing and emotional wellbeing.
You can use this face/body mist while journaling or meditating to help you manifest your desires free of stress and worry.
